Welcome!!! I am so glad that you came across my website. My name is Leeanne, and I’m married to a wonderful man named Joe. I am 29 years old and Joe is 26. I am a hairstylist and own a small salon; Joe manages a car repair shop and is attending full time school. We got married April 26th, 2014 and what a ride it has been! We are in the midst of figuring out this whole “adult life” thing and learning lots along our way.

I started this blog because I have felt somewhat burdened lately – actually, ever since we got engaged. It took me some time to get the guts to do it, but I’m ready to share our journey and life lessons with as many as possible. In this blog, I will focus mainly on our adoption adventures and family life. I plan on sharing what we are learning in and through fostering/adoption, where we are at in the process, and as many resources as possible! We are SO excited to continue expanding our family and “Adding Alfaros”!
